Academic Board
The Academic Board serves to:-
- co-ordinate, oversee and monitor policies, processes and procedures relating to the programme delivery, review and new developments.听
- co-ordinate and oversee the academic management of the embedded colleges (and all associated activities within), pathway colleges and branch campus operations managed by the Pathways and HE Division through agreements with and on the campuses of partner and contracting universities in the UK and Europe鈥
- oversee, establish, monitor, and disseminate best practice of academic quality, staff development, programme development, academic management and enhancement activities with a view to ensuring comparability of approach.
The board functions to furnish the Board of Governors with information from which it can take a view on any actions required. Membership is predominantly Academic Directors at the embedded colleges as well as central teams such as Academic Affairs and representation from the Student Enhancement Team.
